All life matters to Jesus

What About Life

Two thousand years ago, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ settled a question that the world still struggles with today: Whose life matters?

The answer was written in His blood on the cross of Calvary. He didn’t die for one group, one nation, or one people only. He didn’t die for those who were already righteous—because none of us were. He died for all.

  • Jew and Gentile.

  • Rich and poor.

  • Male and female.

  • Slave and free.

  • Every tribe, tongue, and nation.

The Apostle Paul reminds us:

“For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again.”
(2 Corinthians 5:14–15, NKJV)

On the cross, Jesus declared once and for all that every life has value. The ground is level at the foot of the cross. The color of your skin, the language of your tongue, the depth of your wounds, or the weight of your past—none of these can disqualify you from His love.

And let me ask you this: Are you willing to die for all of mankind?
The truth is—you don’t have to. Jesus already paid the price for you and for me. His sacrifice was complete, perfect, and eternal. No one else could do it, and no one else has to.

When Jesus said, “It is finished” (John 19:30), He ended more than the power of sin—He ended the debate about worth. Your life matters because He chose to die for you.
