Jesus is Love

Scripture: “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28

There are seasons when our prayers feel like they’re hitting a wall. We cry out for healing, for provision, for reconciliation—and heaven seems silent. In those moments, it’s easy to wonder: Has God forgotten me? Does He care?

Romans 8:28 reminds us that God is never absent in our unanswered prayers. Silence does not mean neglect. Delay does not mean rejection. Our Father is always weaving the threads of our lives into a greater tapestry—one that we may not see now, but will one day reveal His goodness and glory.

Sometimes, what feels like an unanswered prayer is really God’s protection. Other times, it is His redirection. And often, it is His preparation—forming in us a deeper faith, resilience, and dependence on Him. What we see as “not yet” or “not this way” is still part of His promise: He is working all things—even the silence, even the waiting—for our good.

When the burden feels too heavy, hold fast to this truth: You are not unloved. The cross is proof that God hears, cares, and moves in perfect love. Though you may not understand His timing, you can trust His heart.

Prayer:
Father, thank You that even when my prayers seem unanswered, Your love never fails. Teach me to trust that Your silence is not absence, and that Your plan is far greater than what I can see. Strengthen my faith to believe that all things—even the hard things—are being worked for my good and for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
