Devotional: God’s Art Is All Around You

Theme: Seeing God in What Cannot Be Seen

God’s Art in Creation

Have you ever watched the northern lights shimmer across the sky—colors dancing in patterns no human hand could paint? That is God’s art.

Have you ever seen the snow resting gently on a mountain’s peak—silent, powerful, untouched? That too is God’s art.

And have you ever looked into a mirror, really looked, and seen your reflection staring back at you? You are God’s masterpiece, formed with intention, love, and divine purpose.

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.” — Ephesians 2:10

Seeing the Invisible God in Everyday Life

Many say, “I don’t believe because I can’t see God.” But the truth is: we live by faith every moment of our lives, trusting things we cannot see.

• You cannot see air, yet you breathe it.

• You cannot see gravity, yet it holds your feet to the ground.

• You cannot see the wind, but you feel it on your face—and maybe that is God whispering, “I am here.”

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—His eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made.” — Romans 1:20

Invisible but Real

Things you cannot see but know are true:

• Thoughts and feelings

• Atoms and molecules

• Love, peace, conscience

• The human soul

“We walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Proof That God and Jesus Exist

1. The Universe Declares a Creator

Order, design, beauty, and precise fine-tuning point directly to God.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” — Genesis 1:1

2. Historical Evidence of Jesus

Jesus of Nazareth is confirmed by:

• Roman historians

• Jewish historian Josephus

• Thousands of ancient manuscripts

• Eyewitness testimony of His resurrection

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6

3. Changed Lives

Addictions broken. Hearts healed. Forgiveness given where hate once lived.

Only Jesus can do that.

“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

God Is Here, Even When You Don’t See Him

You don’t see the beams inside your home, but you trust they hold the roof.

You don’t see gravity, but it never fails you.

You don’t see Jesus with your eyes, but you feel Him in your spirit.

“Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” — John 20:29

Belief is never forced. God invites, gently, patiently, lovingly.

Look at the sky. Look at your breath. Look at your life. God is everywhere.

Closing Prayer

Father God, thank You for the beauty that surrounds me—the mountains, the sky, the wind, and every quiet proof of Your presence. Open my eyes to see Your fingerprints in creation and in my life. Strengthen my faith to trust You even when I cannot see. Jesus, thank You for Your death, Your resurrection, and the living proof that You are real and You are near. Help me walk by faith and not by sight. Amen.
