IS AMERICA ITS OWN WORST ENEMY?
A Call to Reflection, Repentance, and Revival

INTRODUCTION
Look around. Turn on the news. Scroll through social media. Walk through your community.
Ask yourself honestly:
Is America its own worst enemy?
"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers… against spiritual wickedness in high places."
— Ephesians 6:12 (KJV)
The real battle has always been spiritual before it becomes political.
THE ENEMY WITHIN
Bigotry.
Racism.
Prejudice.
Violence in our streets.
School shootings.
Division in families.
Finger-pointing instead of helping.
"If ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another."
— Galatians 5:15 (KJV)
When we consume one another, we weaken ourselves.
WHEN GOD IS REMOVED FROM THE CENTER
"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."
— Proverbs 9:10 (KJV)
"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind…"
— Romans 1:28 (KJV)
"Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness."
— Isaiah 5:20 (KJV)
When light is removed, darkness grows.
THE CONDITION OF THE HEART
"For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts… murders…"
— Mark 7:21–23 (KJV)
"Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people."
— Proverbs 14:34 (KJV)
The crisis in America is not only political. It is spiritual.
A HOUSE DIVIDED
"Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation."
— Matthew 12:25 (KJV)
Division weakens nations from within.
HOPE FOR AMERICA
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face… then will I hear from heaven… and will heal their land."
— 2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
"For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God."
— 1 Peter 4:17 (KJV)
"Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord."
— Psalm 33:12 (KJV)
Let me say this boldly:
I will not apologize for believing in Jesus Christ.
I will not apologize for trusting in the Lord.
I will not apologize for standing firm in my faith.
If someone doesn’t like it, so be it.
The Gospel is not something to whisper in shame.
It is something to proclaim in love and conviction.
Because the answer to America’s crisis is not merely political reform.
It is spiritual renewal.
CONCLUSION
America’s greatest enemy may not be overseas.
It may be the sin we excuse,
the pride we protect,
and the God we sideline.
So… Is America Its Own Worst Enemy?
If we continue down a path of division, moral confusion, hatred, and rejection of God — yes.
If we continue to fight each other instead of fighting sin — yes.
If we continue to remove Jesus from our homes, schools, and hearts — yes.
But here is the hope:
America does not have to remain its own worst enemy.
Revival is possible.
Repentance is possible.
Healing is possible.
But it starts with individuals.
It starts with humility.
It starts with prayer.
It starts with turning back to God.
Not just demanding that institutions change — but allowing God to change us.
A Call to Reflect
Before you dismiss this question, pause.
Ask yourself:
Have I contributed to division or healing?
Have I pointed fingers more than I have helped?
Have I lived out the faith I claim?
Have I replaced God with politics, anger, or pride?
The condition of a nation reflects the condition of its people.
If we want a better America, we must become better Americans.
If we want a godly nation, we must become godly individuals.
Come, Lord Jesus
I pray: Come, Lord Jesus, come.
Not because I want escape — but because we need transformation.
We need hearts restored.
Families strengthened.
Communities healed.
Truth spoken in love.
America’s greatest enemy is not across the ocean.
It is the sin we tolerate.
The pride we defend.
The hatred we justify.
The God we sideline.
But the same nation that can fall from within
can also rise from within.
The question is not just “Is America its own worst enemy?”
The deeper question is:
Will we turn back to God before it’s too late?
Hope
Victory is ours through Jesus Christ.
